What counts as a combo?
A combo pairs a conference with one or more sport events (HYROX, marathon, half marathon, 10K) you can realistically do in the same trip — usually the same city or region, within about five days of each other. Combos are curated by hand or auto-detected by proximity, so the pairing is always a plausible journey. Browse all of them on the combos page.
How are ratings calculated?
Every event scores 0–100. Road races use World Athletics certification and performance data; HYROX and conferences use structured signals (venue scale, description quality, verified URLs). A combo blends 0.6 × conference + 0.4 × best sport so compound scores stay on the same scale. The full methodology is on the ratings page.
How do events get added to the site?
We maintain pipeline sources per specialty that follow society calendars (RA-UK, ESRA, ASA, ANZCA, ESAIC…) and the AIMS race calendar, validating every event's URL and details against the organiser before it goes live. That's also why corrections matter — each edit flows through the same pipeline so it never drifts from the source.
How do I report a wrong date or stale link?
Email us with the event name and what's wrong — the more specific the better. We check every report against the organiser's own page before changing anything, and corrections roll into the next update.
