Point-to-loop, closed roads, two countries marathon course in Chester with 80m elevation gain. Fast and gently rolling. The flatter first half through Chester and into Wales is quicker; a couple of short rises return in the closing miles. Total climb is modest at roughly 80m, making it one of the flatter UK city marathons and a genuine PB option
