2026 Thames Meander Marathon - Aug 9

Flat out-and-back along the Thames Path towpath, run as two laps marathon course in Richmond with 60m elevation gain. Genuinely flat and fast, roughly 99% level along the river with only a few short ramps near bridges and slipways - well under 100m of total ascent. The marathon covers two out-and-back laps between Richmond and the Barnes turnaround, passing Kew Gardens. A true personal-best course on the watch, though note it is not an officially measured race
