Taichung International Marathon
The 2023 Taichung International Marathon offers 42K, 21K, 13K, and 6K distances, starting from the open space opposite the Flower Dance Pavilion (花博花舞館) in Houli District, Taichung. The course features a route along the Daan River, through the Dongfeng and Houfeng bicycle greenways, showcasing rural scenery and green corridors.
Run through Taichung's green heart this October, trading traffic for the shaded tunnels of the Dongfeng and Houfeng bike paths and the quiet rural stretches along the Daan River. Autumn's mild, dry air makes for ideal long-distance conditions, and after you finish, reward yourself with a bowl of steaming beef noodle soup in the city's bustling night markets—a local staple that hits the spot.

The course runs from the Flower Dance Pavilion, along Houke Road, across the Yi Li Bridge over the Daan River, then along the riverbank, passing through Dongshi and entering the green tunnels of the Dongfeng and Houfeng bicycle paths, featuring rural landscapes and natural green corridors.
