Toronto Marathon
The GoodLife Toronto Marathon is a point-to-point net-downhill road marathon from North York to the Exhibition Place lakefront, AIMS-certified Boston qualifier. The course drops roughly 105m net, with rolling hills for the first 12km, then a long descent and a flat, fast second half. The race starts at 7:30am from Mel Lastman Square and has a 6-hour time limit.
May in Toronto brings crisp lake air and blooming parklands, perfect for a point-to-point route that finishes by the waterfront with the CN Tower as your backdrop. After the race, wander the Distillery District's cobblestone streets for a hearty peameal bacon sandwich, or catch the cherry blossoms at High Park if they're still lingering.
