The 2026 Xi'an Marathon is a point-to-point road race starting at Yongningmen on the Xi'an city wall, running north past the Bell Tower and East Gate, then through the Chanba eco-district to finish inside Xi'an Olympic Sports Centre Stadium. The course features dense historic landmarks early and wide-open riverside boulevards late, with two out-and-back turnarounds near the end. The race has a field of 36,000 runners across marathon and half marathon distances, with a 6-hour 15-minute cutoff for the marathon.
