21st Biennial European Drosophila Neurobiology Conference — NeuroFly 2026
NeuroFly 2026 inherits the tradition of its 40 years of history since 1986. It will allow the opportunity for researchers from across the globe to meet to discuss their latest research and observations principally on the neurobiology of Drosophila but also including studies using other invertebrate organisms. Drosophila offers major advantages for neurobiological research due to the wealth of genetic tools and connectome data to analyse and manipulate the nervous system. We aim to provide a venue for wide-ranging discussions and interactions between junior and senior researchers in an inclusive interdisciplinary environment that will allow the exchange of results, ideas and new concepts. A wide range of sessions will include all sorts of neuroscience: neuronal circuits, connectome, sensory systems, higher-order systems, motor control systems, synapses, signal transmission, modulation, biochemistry, metabolism, behaviour, ethology, ecology, development, degeneration, regeneration, aging, injury, disease models, computational modeling, simulation, image/video analysis, big-data analysis, and so forth. The majority of the talks will be selected from abstracts allowing a range of emerging research to be presented from junior and senior researchers. In addition seven plenary lectures provide insights and future prospects.
