2026 Long Beach Marathon
Long Beach's flat, fast sea-level marathon along the Pacific shoreline — a popular Boston qualifier, Oct 11, 2026. The course starts downtown, passes the Queen Mary and Shoreline Village, follows the scenic beach path along the ocean through Belmont Shore and Marine Stadium, and loops around the Cal State Long Beach campus before finishing downtown. Total climbing is only about +470 ft (143 m) against -462 ft of descent, making it essentially net-flat.
Long Beach in October offers warm, dry days perfect for soaking in Pacific views along a flat, ocean-hugging course. After the finish, stroll the Queen Mary's decks, then treat yourself to fresh seafood at Shoreline Village or a craft beer in Belmont Shore.
