The 2026 Madison Marathon is a scenic, rolling city loop on Madison's isthmus between Lake Mendota and Lake Monona, starting and finishing on Capitol Square at the foot of the white-domed State Capitol. The USATF-certified course takes in city neighborhoods, lakeshore paths, Tenney Park, the University of Wisconsin campus, Camp Randall, and the wooded UW Arboretum, with an uphill finish.
