Flat out-and-back marathon course in Las Cruces with 53m elevation gain. One of the flattest road marathons in the Southwest. The course is a USATF-certified out-and-back that starts and finishes on the track inside Field of Dreams Stadium in Las Cruces, so you literally cross the finish line on a stadium oval. From there it runs almost entirely on paved path and road through the Mesilla Valley pecan orchards, with the jagged Organ Mountains rising to the east and the Rio Grande corridor nearby
