The 2027 Life Time Miami Marathon is a flat, fast winter destination race across the MacArthur Causeway to South Beach, starting at 6:00 a.m. in downtown Miami. The course is a city loop with about 254 ft (77 m) of elevation gain, USATF-certified and a Boston qualifier, finishing at Bayfront Park.

The course crosses the MacArthur Causeway over Biscayne Bay to Miami Beach and South Beach at sunrise, returns via the scenic Venetian Causeway, then works through the Brickell financial district, an exposed out-and-back on the Rickenbacker Causeway, and a tree-lined Coconut Grove out-and-back before finishing at Bayfront Park.
