Despite its reputation as a small fast race, the Olathe course is honestly rolling, not flat: about +271 m (891 ft) of total climb with the steepest grind packed into the back half (notably miles 17-20). The first half runs easier through residential Olathe before joining paved suburban trails. USATF certified and sanctioned, so times count as a Boston qualifier.
