Point-to-point marathon course in Redlands with 101m elevation gain. An aggressive net-downhill PR course: starts at 6,629 ft near Sugarloaf Mountain and drops 4,223 ft (1,287 m) net down historic California Highway 38 to the Redlands valley. It is not all downhill — the first 4 miles roll and there are small, short climbs here and there (about 332 ft / 101 m of total uphill), but it is overwhelmingly net-downhill: the last 17 miles average a 4.7% grade and the final 3 miles alone fall 443
